The Nicest Place on the Internet
We know how you feel. It's the holidays, the family's gathering, you're franticaly packing your bags, and you still have *no* clue what to buy Dad. It can be stressful, but one heartwarming project is here to give us a little reminder of what this time of year is all about.
The Nicest Place on the Internet is a global, crowdsourced, picture of joy. The site is simple: a video reel of people hugging the camera creates a stream of hugs, each more heartwarming than the next. From a US Postal Service worker to a college student, and even a guy in the park, people from all over the world have submitted videos and helped brighten someone’s day.
We’re loving this adorable reminder to stop and appreciate those we care about most. Anyone can submit a video, so get to it if you’re feeling festive or just share this gem of a project to spread some feel good cheer. Time to hug it out.
